ASPHALT SHEETS

Waterproof sheets composed of bituminous substances derived from asphalt that are usually used in the waterproofing of roofs and underground walls, by the application of heat to achieve its adherence to the support and prevent the passage of water.

Types:

- SBS sheets: The sheets of polymeric bitumen modified with SBS have the following characteristics:

- Excellent folding at low temperatures
- Excellent adhesion to most of the supports used in construction.
- The mastic itself, has a high level of elasticity, which makes it suitable for covers with oscillating movements.

They are sheets without coating and, therefore, can not be exposed directly to the elements. They should always go with heavy protection or as the first sheet in self-protected bilayer membranes.

- Plastomeric sheets: These are asphaltic sheets with an unprotected surface, finished in plastic film. They are composed of an armor covered on both sides with a bituminous mastic of bitumen modified with elastomers (SBS) or polymeric bitumen. The width of the sheet is 1 m.

- Self-protected sheets: They are asphalt sheets with self-protected surface by a slate layer of natural color, light gray, red, green or white. They are composed of an armor covered with bituminous mastic of bitumen modified with elastomers (SBS) or polymeric bitumen. The width of the sheet is 1 m.

- Sheets with metal self-protection: They are asphalt sheets with self-protected surface by an embossed aluminum sheet of 80 microns, natural color, red or green. They are composed by a bituminous mastic of polymeric bitumen or modified bitumen with elastomers (SBS), armed or not. The width of the sheet is 1 m.

- PVC sheets: 3 mm transparent PVC sheet for all types of applications: industrial doors and accesses, furniture protection.
